Kim Boyer is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, and has been practicing elder law and probate for over twenty-five years. She is certified as a specialist in Elder Law by the Nevada State Bar. She received her law degree magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. Ms. Boyer is the author of the book My Last Gift, an Essential End-of-Life Planner, published by Zeitgeist an imprint of Penguin Random House.  She wrote this book to help families have a easier time navigating all the challenges afer death.  She is also the co-author of the books Alzheimer’s and Dementia: A Practical and Legal Guide for Nevada Caregivers, The Essential Eldercare Handbook for Nevada.  She has been named a top attorney in the area of Elder Law by Super Lawyers for 20 years, and a top lawyer in elder law by Best Lawyers. She is a frequent speaker on aging and elder law topics.
